Italdesign Giugiaro from Torino, Italy in collaboration with Frazer Nash (a company specialized in the design, construction and marketing of hybrid systems from England), has produced the Namir Concept that was unveiled at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show.
Namir which stands for Tiger in Arabic is a sports car powered by a hybrid engine developed together with Frazer-Nash combines 814 cc endothermic transverse rotary engine that runs on petrol coupled with a generator that charges the lithium polymer power cells and by four electric motors installed on the front and rear suspension to produce 370 hp (270 kW).
